Do I need to have my own transport to be able to work for Affinity Home Care?
No, we have various care calls that are accessible by walking, cycling or driving.

Do I have to pay for my uniforms?
You will be provided with two company-branded uniforms at no cost. You will need to provide plain black trousers and black flat shoes to wear with it.

I have never done care work before - will I receive training?
We look for people with empathy and a caring attitude. We provide five days of training in order to prepare you for your role. Along with shadowing and ongoing training we ensure that you will not only be able to provide the highest level of care to our clients, but you will also be supported and valued throughout your career with us.

What is the CARE CERTIFICATE? And how do I get it?
The Care Certificate is something that all care workers have to complete before being allowed to work as a carer. We are able to provide all of your training for this and support you through the Care Certificate.

Can I do any qualifications whilst at Affinity?
Yes we encourage all of our carers to undergo further qualifications in care and additional training courses to enhance their skills and knowledge.

What hours would I have to work?
Our clients need care throughout the day and night. Carers can choose which hours that they wish to work, however our busiest times are mornings, lunch and evenings, so it is important to be available at some of these times.
